How the public website and venue readiness journey handle information before live venue setup.

Updated 10 August 2026

What this notice covers

This notice covers the Retriever public website and the account-first venue readiness journey. It explains the information these public steps use before a venue enters a separately agreed setup or service arrangement.

Information used in the public journey

Browsing the site creates ordinary technical requests. Network and browser information may be used to keep the service secure, apply rate limits and diagnose failures. Retriever's in-application request monitor hashes IP addresses and reduces browser identifiers to short categories.

If you choose the readiness check, the account step asks for a work email so a secure magic link can be sent. The readiness preview itself keeps your answers in the current page only. An optional file choice records the filename in page state; the file is not uploaded, opened, read or analysed in that preview.

Cookies and browser storage

The public site stores your cookie-banner choice in your browser. If you create or open an account, secure authentication cookies are used to keep the signed-in session working. The reviewed public journey does not send readiness-preview answers to an advertising platform.

Services involved

Retriever uses service providers to host the website and provide account authentication. Those services handle the information needed to perform those functions. The current site uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for account authentication.

Your choices and questions

You can browse the marketing site without creating an account. You can also leave the readiness preview without submitting venue information. For questions about personal information, correction or deletion, contact support@retrieveragent.com. Any request will be checked before account information is disclosed or changed.

No fixed retention period is stated here because the appropriate period depends on the information and the account or service context. Contact support for the current position that applies to your information.

Security and updates

Retriever uses access controls, secure session handling and request safeguards intended to protect the service. No online service can remove every risk. This notice will be updated when the verified public journey or its information handling changes.
